Frederick Collins died from wounds on 5th March, 1915, after having been brought back to the United Kingdom but as yet, there is no information, as to when and where he was wounded. The 2nd Rifle Brigade battalion was part of 25 Brigade, 8th Division that had arrived in France in November, 1914r and had been involved in the fighting on the Western Front since that date in the section of the front line near Laventie in France. |
